I wake up every day at 5:40.
shower, (shave once a week), have a coffee and check out the internet/weather/paper, etc. Then walk the dog, have breakfast, take a dump and go to work.

I wish I only needed to shave once a week, but in my case its everyday or I have a beard after 2 days. Dogs got his backyard and gets walked in the evening by Rob and his girlfriend. Breakfast never sits well so thats a pass, dumps are on company time, go to work, but I do that less then 150 days a year.

Later guys

actually - the correct terminology would be to "leave a dump..."
Otherwise, if you analyze it, it just sounds weird.

And I've got 25% Cree blood in me, so I couldn't grow a beard if I wanted to. (but the Metis' should cancel that, no?)

I need to eat BK otherwise I'm shot for the morning. Typically scrape off the stubble every morning but some days like today i don't bother...with a goatee its not so bad time wise.

You should see Greg's new beard...looks like Santa now

Other way around. Santa looks like me. I'm older than dirt, remember.

Yes, I recall when he was born. A cute round little lad he was!

And, Ben, maybe the Cree can't grow beards, but they can grow a damned nice growth of hair on their head!

I'm going to give this beard a year without cutting it and then see what I'll do with it then.

I do have a picture, perhaps I'll get around to changing my avatar soon.

Hey to y'all!

So a while back I tried to get in on clearly contacts (www.clearlycontacts.ca) free giveaway across Canada but I missed the event. So last week I get an email saying that except for shipping I could get a free pair of glasses from them. The timing couldn't be better. I was shopping for glasses anyway as my prescription had changed.

entered my numbers and frames including lenses comes to $14. Every lens includes Anti-Reflective, Scratch Resistant and UV protective coatings. I figured why not, the worse that will happen is I'm out $15. They offer a 30 day return or exchange. They have a virtual mirror that allows you to try things on...honestly it works only so-so.

I ordered them Tuesday night and they're here on the truck already. That's fast!

If they suck, no biggie I'll try something else. My last glasses cost something stupid like $400 after all was said an done.

Managed to snag an iPhone 4 today...the line ups at the Apple Store were crazy but we got ours at the Fido kiosk which wasn't nearly as bad.

Did you get it activated? Apparently Fido, Telus, and Bell were okay, but Rogers crashed big time. Possible 3 day wait for some people.

I can't get on either Rogers Wireless website or Fido's web site at the moment.

Give us your take on it when you've had a few days with it.

I had no issues with mine. It took glendas a few hours to go through.

So far the most impressive thing about the new iphone is the speed. It's so much faster then the older models. The screen is nice and having access to all the features of iOS4 is great.

I do notice the signal strength drop if you grip it hard but it doesn't go to zero. Might be different when we get into weak coverage in southern Sk this week. So far though I'm really impressed.

Hey Guys!
Been up in Jasper Alberta over the last week.

This is an Elk that was by Lake Annette where we relaxed at the beach with green/blue clear water..

Trev - that's an impressive picture.
I have been to, and swam in Lake Annette before, the tourist spots said I'd find it cold because it's glacier run-off, but I didn't. I actually found it tepid compared to Westhawk in June.

It was fairly cold..however because it's somewhat shallow , it seemed the hot sun helped to warm it up a bit.
I was in the water for a bit..the girls much longer.

We leave for the 'Dell's in two days.
I changed the oil in the truck, rotated the tires front-to-rear, (replaced 3 G'Damned wheel studs after rotating the tires), installed my iPod interface... tied my airbags together through a valve.

Now, I have two days to get a Scosche IUH3 vent-mount for the iPod - so I don't have an iPod sliding across my dashboard all the time.
The only place I could find one in Stock is at Wall-Mart's electronics section. I need to negotiate a trip there in the next day or so.

I got passed by some guy's mid-life crisis this morning...an Audi R8....damn that thing sits low.

Saw inception last night....I highly recommend it. I wish I could talk about it but it's do good I wouldn't want to spoil even one part of it.

I should have the IUH3 vent-mount for the iPod tomorrow.

SonicElectronix' website says itsa fit good for the iPod Nano too.
I'm still undecided about buying the 'touch or the Nano.
