Default 1993 Honda Accord F.S. (outside WPG)

US spec Honda Accord 5 spd 4dr sedan (same as a Canadian EX-r) in Arcadia Green Pearl.
(valid safety inspection till end of June, 2010 - I believe, since it's my understanding safeties are good for a year)
here's what doesn't work:
AC has a freon leak - it works but loses charge, source of leak hasn't been sought.
Rear window defrost doesn't work - window was tinted, when the tint was removed it pulled the grid off the window.
There is an Airbag trouble diagnostic lite up - suspect the clock-spring in the steering wheel is faulty, as the cruise control powers up but doesn't respond to steering wheel control inputs - but the horn works.

233 000 miles, power sunroof works, all power windows work, I have a new drivers side front window-run-channel, but it hasn't been installed.

It has 4 good 15" summer tires (lots of tread) on factory OEM alloy rims in excellent shape. Also, 4 good 14" A/S tires (lots of tread) on steel rims for winter.

Excellent heat, AM/FM CD/MP3 disk player and small 4ch Alpine amp. interior in good shape, all interior and exterior lights work.

Pictures were taken later-on when lighting wasn't the best, so I have brightened them up a bit... which threw the colours off a tad.

PM if interested... $1250.oo

There's a fly in the ointment...
She ran a lien check on the car and she found there's a lien against it (according to her on-line lien check website.)
I have a clean Texas title for the car, and CBSA (Canada Border Services...) allowed the car to enter Canada via my Dad.

I have talked to her, and ensured she would get her cash back if I can't resolve this quickly - but she's on her way from Gillam tomorrow to pick it up. She'll have no problems registering it - but it doesn't look good on me to have appeared to have tried to pull a "fast one", plus she wouldn't be able to state it as collateral aganst anything until this is resolved. I have to talk to my bank and see what they can find out. I'm hoping it's a mix-up on the VIN, but the numbers on her lien check matched the numbers on the VIN/Bill-of-Sale.

This is bizarre.

It could be paperwork error. The bank still had a lien on our house even though we paid off our mortgage years ago. When we went to remortgage for the reno, it was discovered. The loans officer looked really embarrassed and made it go away right quick. It could be that someones records weren't updated in a particular database and that's why it's showing on the lien check website.

Thanks
I got it cleared up, it seems that both myself and the gal I sold the car to both mis-interpreted the sheet that was issued by each of our financial institutions. We both mistook the portion of the sheet that indicated the balance owing amount for a balance owing on the car... It was actually the balance owing from to financial institution to the credit checking company.

The car was indeed clear of any liens (strangely, my Texas title showed it to be free and clear as well).

She did run a carfax report on the car though - wow, are those things full of info, especially on a car from the USA. As far as the Carfax report goes it sorta dropped off the face of the earth so-to-speak when it got to Canada though.
